Your blog called my atention because something similar occured with me a few months ago.
In fact it's very difficult to find good information on this subject and also the distributors are only interested in selling and just forget about details like quality, the most propper pipe for cold regions.....
Since we had some problem at home, I checked a lot of suppliers and even now it's difficult to distinguish the best solution for water plumbing.
